Connecting2Australia is your local registered NDIS provider and we have been supporting and empowering people living with a disability since 1953.

Connecting2Australia has seen many changes over this time. We have continually evolved and developed within the disability sector, however one thing has remained constant; our ongoing passion for understanding the needs of people with disability and their carers and families.

We know that people living with disability want the same opportunities as everyone else and that the ultimate goal is to live a fulfilling life. A big part of that life is to feel included, this is why we continually strive to create an inclusive community environment that embraces disability in all forms

You are in charge of your life journey and we are here to support and provide opportunity, greater choice and more control in your life. Disability is as unique as you are, there is no one size fits all. Our programs are tailored to help you meet your goals.

History

It all began back in 1953 at Woorinyan, our first site in Frankston, created from nothing by a group of driven and committed parents who wanted to create a safe space for their disabled children. From these humble beginnings, Connecting2Australia has consistently grown and evolved over time to now boast 10 separate hubs that deliver a wide and diverse range of services designed to support all aspects of disability.

Board members

Connecting2Australia is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors who generously give their time and expertise to steer the organisation into the future, who ensure it is operating legally, ethically and to its full potential. Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.
